about us
Just like most businesses, Stunt Nations was built on an idea by two Indigenous stuntmen/actors aspiring change to the politics of how Indigenous stunt people are governed and treated within the film industry. So what did they do?
They created their own school.
Stunt Nations is an Indigenous-owned non-profit company based in Alberta, Canada. The film industry is ever-evolving with many opportunities for Indigenous performers. Stunt Nation’s mission is to empower Indigenous youth and adults who want to pursue a stunt performance career in the entertainment industry.
We aim to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to work professionally within the film industry. Our facilitators have over 25 years of experience in film and television and stunt work with unmatched quality of skills and knowledge which we aim to pass on to our valued students as they are the future - the next generation of stunt people.
Our objective is to prepare all and any identified, or self-identified, Indigenous people with the foundations and skills to be able to work all over the world in many sectors from film, television and theatre, to media and motion capture video games.
